Rep socialism at NKY Pride and march in the parade with the chapter! We'd like to have as many people as possible marching under our banner, so bring any interested friends or family too and make it a party.
And/or, we have a table at the festival from 12-5 and need people to work tabling shifts of 1+ hours.
Details: the parade kicks off at noon, with participants probably arriving in the staging area up to an hour before. Precise scheduling will be provided once we receive further details. Parade route map here: https://nkypridecenter.org/nky-pride-2026.
Accessibility: We are a walking entry and don't have a float to ride on, so plan accordingly re: bringing mobility aids, transporting children, etc. Everyone is encouraged to plan for the June weather accordingly, but we'll have bottled water, electrolytes, sunscreen, and ice packs for anyone who needs them. Especially keep in mind that we'll be outdoors for multiple hours and it's unclear if there's much shade on the parade route, so bring sunglasses, a hat, etc.

About This Event
Join DSA Metro Cincinnati for a screening of Pride! One of the most powerful films ever made about solidarity across movements. This is a community event bringing together labor, LGBTQ+, and progressive organizations to celebrate the history that proves our movements are stronger together.
Doors open at 6:30 PM for tabling and mingling with allied organizations before the film begins at 7 PM.
Pride (2014)
Directed by Matthew Warchus | 119 min | Rated R
The story of the 1984 Welsh miners' strike and the queer activists whose ardent support built one of the most inspiring coalitions in progressive history. Based on true events, Pride is a joyful, moving testament to what happens when marginalized communities refuse to let each other stand alone.
"They hate us. They hate you. Maybe the enemy of your enemy is your friend."
- Pride (2014)
Community Tabling
Before the film, connect with local organizations fighting for workers' rights, LGBTQ+ liberation, and community power. Representatives from labor, LGBTQ+, and allied organizations will be on hand to share resources and opportunities to get involved.

Meet-Up Spot TBD - Sawyer Point Park, East Pete Rose Way, Cincinnati, OH, USA
Rep socialism at Cincinnati Pride and march in the parade with the chapter! We'd like to have 50-100 people marching under our banner this year, so bring any interested friends or family too and make it a party.
And/or, we'll have tables in both the main area and teen area of the festival from 12-8 and need people to work tabling shifts of 1+ hours.
Details: the parade kicks off at 11 am, with walking entry participants probably arriving in the staging area up to an hour before. Precise scheduling and staging location for our entry will be provided once we receive further details from Pride.
Accessibility: Last year there were porta-potties in the staging area. We are a walking entry and don't have a float to ride on this year, so plan accordingly re: bringing mobility aids, transporting children, etc. Everyone is encouraged to plan for the late-June weather accordingly, but we'll have bottled water, electrolytes, sunscreen, and ice packs for anyone who needs them. Especially keep in mind that we'll be outdoors for multiple hours and there is very little shade on the parade route, so bring sunglasses, a hat or rainbow umbrella, etc.
