Disability Justice Working Group is the home for disability and health justice issues within the chapter. This includes creating accessibility-related resources for the chapter, hosting educational events, and executing campaigns related to Medicare For All, medical debt, and disability rights. Volunteers are currently needed for fundraising, event planning, and multimedia content creation. 

The working group is currently running the chapter’s 2026 Priority Campaign for Undue Medical Debt. UMD is a non-profit which buys packages of steeply-discounted medical debt and instead of collecting on it, cancels it for the patients. The goal is to raise $10 thousand for a UMD Regional Campaign, which would wipe out up to $1 million in locally held medical debt.
