Community Support & Direct Action Working Group seeks to create a broader presence for DSA within Cincinnati and provide internal infrastructure to the chapter. To this end, it engages in mass action education and mutual aid projects. Volunteers are needed for food preparation, childwatch service, protest marshaling, and instructors for skillshares.
The working group supports the efforts of established mutual aid organizations by referring volunteers and driving for supplies. It also provides food and childwatch service for the chapter’s general body meetings. It is tasked with providing education on protest marshaling and general protest safety. The working group coordinates generalized skillshares on first aid, fiber arts, tool usage, self defense, and other topics of interest to the chapter.
Community Support & Direct Action WG meets every other Thursday at 7pm on Zoom. Submit the attached form to access the link.
